Diatomaceous Earth. What is it & what can you use it for? Live a fantastic bug-free life.

What's the best way to get rid of ticks, fleas, mites, cockroaches, and any other creepy-crawly that might be lurking in your home?

In today's world, we are all actively looking for natural, skin & body-safe, hygienic, organic or eco-friendly products. People have suddenly become aware of Sulphate in their shampoos and soaps. The harm house cleaning products can cause to lungs & environment. Everyone is on the lookout and is on red alert.

With COVID-19 roaming our streets, towns and cities, all of us want to be safe, all of us want to be healthy & more and more people are becoming aware of going green. Hence this article. I wanted to share a product that a lot of people are not aware of. Quite a few of us have plants & pets at home & with that comes itty bitty bugs, ticks, fleas and all those pests we hate dealing with. Almost all of us have a cockroach or ant problem.

I live on the ground floor, we are constantly susceptible to pests, and with three dogs at home, I do not feel comfortable using things like boric acid or pesticides for our garden or home.

Introducing: DIATOMACEOUS EARTH - Food Grade. Commonly known as DE. It is, simply put the fossilized remains of really small, aquatic organisms called diatoms. Their skeletons are made of a natural substance called silica. It is an odourless powder that can be used in your gardens, on pets & in the corners of your house. It acts a lot like a drying agent that draws out the moisture from insects and other killing them. You can read up more on this here http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/degen.html

Warning: because this silica is a very fine powder it is recommended to avoid inhaling it as it can cause irritations.

Get rid of bed bugs, dust mites, cockroaches, ants, ticks fleas & other garden and home pests with this simple and easy to use, eco-friendly pesticide.

For only garden and external use:

I even use it in my deodorant recipe (the food-grade version) it works wonderfully on the skin to keep it odour free and dry. But it isn't an antiperspirant.
